Neck and Shoulders Workshop

Have you ever felt like you were carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders? Learn poses to incorporate into your personal Hatha practice. As we learn ways to respond to and release stress that has built up in the body, we can then counter the body's negative reaction to stress. Releasing tension held in the neck and shoulders can bring new freedom of movement in many poses, more ease to the entire body and in turn peace to the mind. This workshop is open to students and teachers of all levels.

Introductory Sanksrit Workshop

Joseph Campbell wrote "Sanskrit is the great spiritual language of the world." Its name dervies from the two works 'Sam' - denoting well or perfectly, and 'Skritam' - written. It's sound structures represent an array of the whole of manifest vibration, on which the whole creation is built. In awakening to these sacred seed sounds, and refining your ability to speak and chant them, your own perception of the subtle will certainly increase. We will spend some time learning with the Sanskrit phonemes (letters) themselves, work with stringing them into words, and then enjoy chanting them with close attention to detail.
